Swift Storage – Terms of Use

Swift Storage Operations Pty Ltd (“Swift Storage”) and its affiliates provide services to you subject to the following terms of use:

Registering for an account and Standard Storage Agreement

By registering for a space at one of our facilities and setting up a user account, you are agreeing to the Terms of Use on this page and all hyperlinked documents.  You agree that such registration constitutes your electronic signature, and you consent to electronic provision of all disclosures and notices from Swift Storage, including those required by law. You also agree that your electronic consent will have the same legal effect as a physical signature.

We use the Standard Storage Agreement as supplied by the Self Storage Association of Australasia.  All Storers are required to complete our Standard Self Storage Agreement – either electronically when booking a storage space online, or in-store at your local Swift Storage facility. 

Communication and Privacy

By providing Swift Storage with your contact information (email or telephone number), you consent to be contacted by Swift Storage by telephone call, text or email.  See our Privacy Policy here.

Links to other sites

Swift Storage’s website may link to third party websites and interfaces, as well as content and data from, third-party websites, products and services (“Other Services”). By accessing or using these Other Services, you are consenting to the creation of an interface with such Other Services and agreeing that Swift may exchange information and control data with such Other Services regarding you, and your use of the services. Once this information is shared with the Other Services, its use will be governed by the third party’s privacy policy and not by our Privacy Policy. Moreover, use of such Other Services is governed by separate terms and conditions provided by the providers of the applicable product or service. You should review the terms of use and privacy policies of such Other Services before using them. We do not exercise control over such Other Services. We do not endorse the materials contained on Other Services and are not responsible for the performance of the Other Services.  We make no representations or warranties about such third-party sites, nor do we endorse such sites or their content.

Stripe Checkout service – Payment

Swift Storage uses the Stripe Checkout service for payment from Storers.  Stripe allows you to pay for your storage costs via [Visa and Mastercard debit and credit cards as well as American Express. Noke Storage Smart Entry App

Before moving into your storage space, you will need to download the Storage Smart Entry by Noke App from the App Store or Google Play. Within the app, you will receive an invite text or email generated upon completion of move-in.  See Noke End User Agreement and Terms and Conditions here.


You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Swift Storage, its contractors, and its licensors, and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from and against any and all claims and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of your use of the website and services.


Swift Storage’s website, mobile app or any other technology platforms are provided “as is” without any representations or warranties.  We are not responsible for failures, such as network connectivity or transmission failures or technical, hardware and/or software failures.


Terms and conditions may be changed at any time without notice.  Revised terms and conditions will be posted on our website here, with the date revised noted.

Refund Policy

1. This Policy will commence from 1 February 2024. It replaces all other customer refund policies (whether in writing or otherwise).

2. No refunds for unused Storage Period
a. The Swift Storage Customer Agreement is a Fixed Period agreement. The fixed Storage Period is for 30 days, commencing from the date the Agreement in entered in to.
b. No refunds are provided for any unused Storage Period.
c. If moving out, 7 days notice is required before the next billing date. Please refer to separate moving out instructions on Swift’s FAQ page and in the email communications a customer receives after signing up.

3. Refund for pre-paid Storage
a. If a customer has pre-paid more than the 30-day Storage Period and moves out whilst still having a prepaid balance on their account more than 30 days, the customer is entitled to a refund for any unused prepaid rent over 30 days.

4. Cancellation / Early Termination
a. If a customer books and pays for a storage unit in advance, and then cancels before the move in date, a refund will be paid for the unused storage rental paid less an early termination fee of $50.

5. Payment of Refunds
a. Any refund owing will be paid within a reasonable period of time and will be less any other amounts Swift Storage is entitled to claim under the Storage Agreement.
b. Any refund processed will only be refunded to the original credit/debit card used when making the booking. Under no circumstances will a refund be processed to a different card or account than the original purchase card/account.
