How does Swift work?

When can I access my unit?
Our centres are open from 5AM to 10PM, 7 days a week.
I'm not sure how much space I need. Can you help?
Check out our size estimator and you’ll get a great idea of what size unit you’ll need. You can always change to a larger or smaller unit in the future too, if your requirements change.
I'm ready - how do I book a unit?
The easiest and quickest way is to book online. In a few clicks, you can get your unit booked and it’ll be ready to move in immediately!
What security does Swift have?
Our facilities have Security Lighting, Security Fencing, Security Patrols, Video Surveillance, Electronic Gates and Security Alarms.
Can I pay online?
Of course! Simply login to your account and click on the billing tab to update your card details and settle any outstanding invoices.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major debit and credit cards as payment. You will have to provide your credit card information at the time you place your order. Your account will then be automatically charged on a monthly basis.
How can I update or change my billing or profile information?
Login to your account and click on the billing tab to update card details and contact info.
Cancellation Fee - $50 (including GST)
If you book and pay in advance and change your mind, you can cancel before your move in date and we will refund you for the unused storage rental paid less an early termination processing fee of $50.
Cleaning Fee – from $50 (including GST)
Payable by the Storer on demand if Swift Storage reasonably determines that the Space requires cleaning
Late Payment Fee - $10 (no GST)
At Swift Storage, we aim to provide a seamless and efficient self-storage experience for all our customers. To ensure timely payments and maintain the quality of service, we have introduced a late fee policy. Starting from the 22nd day after your invoice’s due date, a $10 late fee will be automatically applied to your account if payment has not been received. This policy helps us minimise late payments and the associated administrative efforts, allowing us to focus on delivering exceptional self-storage services to you. We encourage all our customers to settle their invoices promptly to avoid any late fees.
Insurance
As a customer of Swift Storage, it’s important to know that your goods ARE NOT insured with us and Swift Storage is unable to offer you insurance for your goods. Whilst Swift Storage has insurance on our facilities, this does not include insurance cover for your goods. Anything that you put into storage is your sole responsibility and is stored at your own risk. Swift Storage recommend that you have adequate insurance cover for your goods whilst they are stored with us. Even with our high level of safety and security, accidents and natural disasters can occur. Our motto is, if it’s worth storing, it’s worth insuring. So what can you do? The best place to start would be to talk to your home and contents insurer, business insurance or an insurance broker to see if they can help. Whilst some home and contents policies cover goods while in storage, each insurance company and policy will have different requirements and coverage so you will need to check with them first. Having insurance for your goods will give you peace of mind, knowing that if anything does go wrong you are covered financially. If you do not have adequate insurance in place, you accept any loss or damage to your stored goods at your own risk and expense. You will have no claim against Swift Storage if your goods are damaged.
Moving out
Notice of Vacating Your Unit: Please give us at least 7 days’ notice before your next billing date if you plan to vacate your storage unit. You can notify us by email, SMS, or phone. Final Steps for Moving Out: After confirming your move-out date with our team, simply send us a photo of your empty and cleaned unit via text or email. This will allow us to finalise your move-out in our system.
